NOGI SUBMISSION GRAPPLING

Our No-Gi programme (Fighting without Kimono/GI = NO-GI) is offered in both basic and advanced classes. Students have the opportunity to learn the same modern Jiu Jitsu that is taught in Gi classes, but adapted to No-Gi situations. However, these are adapted to No-Gi situations.

The aim of the various techniques is to put the opponent in a position that is unfavourable for him, to control him and/or to force him to give up (Tap).

In the case of an attack, a natural instinct leads a person to want to slow down the situation by trying to grab the opponent. A common result of such a situation is grappling, which allows the movements of the opponent to be controlled.
